The soft remodel of Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa’s VIP Reception Lobby called for a warm and bright palette where the interior had previously been deep and moody. While retaining the original macassar millwork, reds and browns were exchanged for cream, caramel, cognac, and bronze. The redesign focused on subtle texture, reflection, contrast, and focal points within the irregular floor plan. A new art program commissioned work from international artists with a focus on natural forms and texture, responding in counterpoint to the hotel’s signature stonework. Fully bespoke reception desks, screens, consoles, and furnishings all respected the original program while offering a refined sense of organization and balance for the resort’s suite and villa guests.
